Hi my name is Samuel Campbell and I am graduating from Software Engineering at Concordia University mid August!

I spent a great deal of time searching for an academic field of interest. One day I decided to investigate C++… My life would never be the same. It sparked my interest on the same order of magnitude that Pokemon Red/Blue did for you and I as children.

I am particularly fond of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, as well as Embedded Systems. I believe many individuals missunderstand the use of artificial intelligence and ignorantly jump on the bandwagon. It is a domain of Computer Science which uses inductive techniques to solve problems as opposed to the reverse which consists of finding problems for the sole purpose of using AI (for the hype!!). Not everything requires machine learning… However, I am a strong believer that everything can be automated one way or another.
